Durex is the new brand in the market that is set to compete with Amul when it comes to marketing. Just like Amul, Durex has started creating wide reach of its brand online through intelligent marketing techniques.
Earlier we saw how Durex talked about Virushka and Sonam Kapoor’s wedding. It also took a clever dig on the falling value of rupee and then on England after it got out of the FIFA World Cup.
Now Durex is back with yet another post and this time they have used Yahoo Messenger. The messenger which introduced everyone to the term “online chat” has been taken down by the company due to lack of popularity.
After it was taken down, it started trending all over and Durex decided to use it for marketing. The brand posted a tribute video to Yahoo Messenger in which they very cleverly placed their brand. Watch it below-
